Senior Project Manager

JEMCOR Division of KU Resource, Inc. is seeking an upper-level Project Manager with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or engineering field for our Johnstown, PA office. The successful candidate will be required to live in Cambria County. We are looking for individuals with 8-12 years’ experience in management/supervision., with good written and verbal communication skills, as well as a mechanical aptitude. The position requires knowledge of environmental control practices, and the ability to undertake a wide variety of tasks, including management of sub-contractors (mechanical and electrical), and experience with tracking and managing costs and budgets. Salary range is $80,000-$90,000 per year.

 

Entry-Level Civil Engineer

In response to its growing site development engineering activities, we are seeking an entry-level engineer who is interested in a challenging position. We are looking for energetic individuals ready to take the next step in their careers at an innovative and solutions-oriented local firm. Availability for short to medium length out-of-town field assignments is required. The company is interested in candidates with good verbal and written communication skills, and the desire and ability to undertake a wide variety of tasks. Experience with AutoCAD is desired, but this is not a prerequisite for employment. Engineer-in-training (EIT) is preferred.

 

Civil Engineer

The company is interested in a candidate with 5-10 years of experience with the desire and ability to undertake a wide variety of tasks. Requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering; EIT (Engineer in Training) certification required, PE, or ability to obtain licensure within 1 year desired. Candidate should have experience with stormwater management design, including hydraulic software (Hydraflow, Pondpack, HEC-RAS, etc.), NPDES permitting and Erosion and Sediment Control design in Pennsylvania; ability to work with other engineers, surveyors, architects, designers, drafters, and other professionals; able to prepare and/or check all calculations, reports, drawings, and other documents for construction, permit, or bid packages; experience with or desire to become familiar with budgets and proposals; experience with site investigation reports including planning and zoning analysis, utility research and one-call coordination, environmental & geotechnical database reviews of Pennsylvania municipalities is a plus; construction experience including but not limited to infiltration testing, construction monitoring, RFI coordination, shop drawing review is a plus; availability for short to medium out-of-town field assignments is required; good verbal and written communication skills.
